About

I’m a doctor, a GP.

I qualified in 1990 and almost 34 years later, I’m slowly bowing out.

I qualified as a GP in 1995, trained in Somerset by the inspirational Richard Eve. In 1996 I moved to Yorkshire where I’ve worked a GP locum, a partner, a salaried GP, a GP appraiser, a GP trainer, a commissioning GP, a coach and a mentor. During the pandemic, thanks to the fantastic creation of Covid-19 vaccines I’ve got pretty adept at intramuscular injections!

I still work as a Medical Examiner, helping to ensure the accuracy of death certification locally.

These pages are just a place to blow off steam and see what others think. Hopefully it’ll be interesting and perhaps even controversial. The posts are just some thoughts though, not meant to offend or upset individuals. Do engage and tell me if you agree or disagree, like or dislike what I’ve said.

Of course, everything I write is a personal view, and not that of any organisation or person other than me.
